garage door insulation

I was wondering what the best kind of insulation to used on my garage door. It's a typical 2 car, uninsulated steel door. I have looked into reflectix, but the R value is only about 3. I didn't know what the best option might be. I didn't know if I'd have to tweak the springs on the door opener because on any added weight.

thanks

Two inch rigid foam covered with a fire resistant material. Sheet aluminum might work if it conforms to building code. The weight addition would be minimal.
