I backed into my garage door. the frame & track do not seem to be bent. it opens & closes also. It appears the panels are just dented in a bit. Do I have to replace the entire door or can I just replace the panels?
If itís a metal garage door you can repair the panel by using body filler the same stuff you would use for your car apply it, sand it, prime it and paint it. If itís a wood door you can use wood filler depending how big the dent is. Or if you wish you can just remove the panel and replace with new unless your handy you can do it yourself if not, call a garage door company and also have them look at your door not opening and closing properly. It would probably need to be adjusted but no need to replace the door.
