Framing for pocket doors

An anyone give me a step by step of how to frame a pocket door on a basement concrete floor? Please include any and all wood that needs to be used? I am have difficulty figuring out what type of wood to use for the portion of door which creates a pocket and how to secure this wood to the concrete floor.

That's good advice. One of the "unique" things in our log home (designed by the wife) is that every interior door, all seven of them, is a pocket door. Several companies manufacture kits for installing them - I think I got mine at Lowe's. With mine, there are metal brackets securing them to the floor, so you'd need a masonry bit and appropriate fasteners for that.
