Foundation question - Bored hole in Foundation?

I am in the process of building a new home and upon my last visit to the construction site I notices they had drilled a hole in the foundation next to some plumbing . When i asked one of the workers, he replied that they had to move a drainage pipe over. I didnt see if they covered the opening because they placed the cabinets and counter over it. will this affect the foundation or anything else?

It's ok and normal to put some holes in a slab, so long as you don't go overboard.

I had my slab foundation leveled last summer. They did a total of 34 piers, 21 around the outside and 13 on the inside. For the inside piers they had to jackhammer through the slab, so I had 13 holes intentionally put in the slab. They covered all their holes up pretty nicely. House is level now.

Foundation or slab? Its typical to bore through the foundation if they didnt put a sleeve for the plumbing. It is perfectly fine as long as they filled any old holes and sealed all around the pipe to create a water tight seal.
