foundation question

The spacing of the piers will depend on the load on the building and the strength of the members above where the piers are.

Trusses, joists, beams?

where in the world (snow, seismic?)

Have the building design and put the piers where they need to be.

Excellent reply, and spot on accurate. I second the motion: have it designed properly.
