foundation liner

What kind of plastic foundation liner will not degrade in a high salt/alkaline soil?

I assume you are talking about a vapor "barrier", like polyethylene sheeting, ie visqueen, type material; something to keep moisture in the dirt away from your slab. If so, check out Stego Wrap at www.stegoindustries.com; I happen to have 4 rolls I'll sell you, too.... kidding. The shipping would kill you. I would guess it would work if anything would.
