Foundation for a 12X14 Shed

I'm planing to build a 12X14 Shed in my backyard, when it rains water takes a couple of days to drain out so I would like to stay away from treated wood as a foundation, then I checked out some sheds at home depot and they use 2X6 Galvanized steed joists for there sheds but they do not sell these joists. any ideas?? Thanks

You could build it on a foundation or layer of 8" cinder blocks with 4X6" pressure-treated beams over that. I would make all of the exterior either pressure-treated wood and plywood.
If you use a quality brand name of pressure treated wood, it should have a 50-year limited warranty. Make sure that you use p-t wood with the proper treatments level. (At least 1.0, I would think. That means one pound of chemical per cubic foot of wood.) Check with the a knowledgeable dealer.
Good Luck!
Mike
