Floor Support needed for Jacuzzi Corner Whirlpool tub
I am installing a Jacuzzi Whirlpool corner bath. It is about 60"x60" and according to the documentation, filled can be 1,280lbs or 55lb/sqft. Existing floor has six 2 X 6 joists spaced ten inches apart; resting on two iron beams with a nine foot span. Is this enough support for the Jacuzzi whirlpool tub?
