floor joist replacement

I want to replace the existing 2 x 8 wood floor joist in a 10' X 12" section of my basement to gain some need ceiling height. I want to use 3" Jr I beams. Either 5.7 or 7.5. I can't find any load info on these. anyway they'll be 10' length, I assume the connection will be to rest the ends as the joist rest but at the appropriate height. but on what centers , the existing are on 16" centers. it is a ranch style home. has anyone used these Jr beams like this?

The only thing you can safely assume is that any advice you get here on what to use material wise is an assumption on the part of the poster. Such structural work has myriads of load situations that can only be assessed by a site visit from a structural engineer. It is money well spent compared to the future possible remediation costs of a design failure.
