Floor "HUMP" at kitchen entrance.....

Newbe at DIY. Searched all the threads & posts about Main support beams & sagging floors, but i have a "HUMP" at my kitchen entrance (about 12" circumfrence). I bought the 60'x30' 1977 single level ranch (crawl space) in May, 2007 and the "Hump" appeared March 2008. It's a solid hump (not saggy or bouncy). My floors have insulation installed with wire holding it up. I can remove the insulation if i can get a suggestion what to look for. I can provide pictures if it's needed...Thanks in advance.........Tom

Pictures of the hump area from below would be good. Remove the insulation and expose the sub-floor, and joist. Until we can help you see what to look for, it's much like the blind leading the blind.

Probably a girder that runs along the wall or someone added a pier to "fix" a sag or dip and now you have reverse curvature or uneven settlement on either side of the pier. Pictures of the crawl would help
