floor framing in garage
Hi All,
I'm building a floor frame in the garage that will be 9ft x 10ft. I used 2x8 to frame the floor. I boxed in those 2x8 joists with 2x8 so I have a free floating floor. Now my question is how do I support this floor framing about 12 inches above the garage floor?
I plan on using a PT 4x4 for the legs attached to a brace with ledger screws (4" Long, black screws). Then the brace will be nailed into the concrete with a nail gun.
Anyone see a problem with doing it this way?
