Flat Roof estimates

I have a flat roof, about 20' x 30' on the upper level of my house. It is leaking and needs to be replaced. I got an estimate of $5500: $3000 to rip off the old roof and $2500 to replace it with a new one. Any opinions on if this is a fair estimate? I had another roof replaced, a 20x20 standard shed roof, that cost half that much.

Flat Roof estimates

This is a DIY site, and is therefore better suited to helping you do your own roofing than helping you determine a fair price for a contractor to do it. Too many variables and project-specific details that we can't know about, therefore we discourage contractor/estimate-related posts.
