Fixing a gap at the bottom of the front entrance door?

I have a gap located at the bottom of my front door. I've bought some weather stripping for the bottom however the gap starts at the middle of the door and gets slightly bigger towards the opening of the door.

I looked at the bottom of the door and thought it would have something to slide some weather stripping down but it's smooth.

Does anyone know how or what I can do to fix this?

They sell, "U" shaped weatherstripping that wraps around the door bottom and up the front and back. This should be adjustable enough for the varied edge. If you want to fill the gaps between the door and the weatherstripping, you can use a low expanding foam.
