Fitting Plasterboard

I am going to plasterboard a room and wondered if anyone can tell me how many mm's I need to leave between the pieces of board. I've got the joint sealer and tape, but have no idea how much the gap should be.

HI jce992001

Other may have a different opinion. I have always tried to make the minimum gap possible. The expansion and contraction of drywall takes place threw out the board and gap don't seem to be needed.. When taping if you end up with larger gaps anywhere. use a setting type of compound for at least the fist coat of compound. The setting type will have a number like 10,20, or something like 90 . This number is the approximate work time of the product before it starts to set up. The premixed type will shrink much more especially in larger gaps or areas.
