fire escape from third floor


would an iron or wood fire escape staircase be better? are fixed attached ladders legal anywhere? it would be out of a bedroom window.

Check with your local building Dept to see what they require
Ladders are not legal for fire escape - as was indicated in your other thread on the same subject

oh yeah. i called the BD today. no response yet. same with the electric co. i called last week.
