Default finishing under your deck

We recently built a cottage with a nice walkout basement. We used pressure treated lumber for our top level deck and didn't put much thought into what would happen if we were on the ground floor and it was raining (rain coming through deck).

I have seen a couple of underdeck options, but there all white and all our soffits are black. Does anyone have any other unique ideas on how to finish this off so we can enjoy the bottom deck even when it's raining but still look great?

There are metal and vinyl systems for installing under a deck to catch rain. None are black, but I suppose you could paint the metal ones black. Painting vinyl a dark color is not recommended. I can't recall the manufacturers of these systems, but will try to find it.
