finishing a basement


Wondering if anyone knows of a how-to on finishing a basement. Never did anything like it before, can't be to bad right?

First, you need to figure out what you want to do and how you want it to look....the research those topics.....then come back and ask us specific questions.

Don't hesitate to hit up your local library. Most have dozens of home improvement books including basement finishing. Even most big box stores have a plethora of books from which to choose. I find Lowes has the best selection of home improvement books at a reasonable price. And, of course, a google search will likely lead you to hundreds of resources.

Snap pics from all four corners so we can see what you have and offer some tips. I am half way through my second basement gut/buildout.
