Finished priming, but I still see shadows underneath...?

I have finished priming my drywall, one coat, but I still see some shadows underneath.

The grey shows through, albeit, very faintly. It doesn't look completely white. Is this normal? Or did I not do a good job of priming? Do I have to do another coat to get it completely covered?

Thanksh

Yes, primers are not meant to hide or cover but to seal.
