Filling wide driveway control joints

Over the years, the control joints in my 75ft driveway have spread approx. 3/4"-1". I'd like to fill them before winter and was wondering about the best procedure and products to do so.

Well you are going to need two different product/fillers to get this job done right.
First product to use is called Backer Rod.

Backer rod is a closed cell rope that is used to control thickness of the applied sealant.See attached pdf and note that for joints larger than the backer rod you can twist two strands of rod together.

Second product you're going to need is a polyurethane self-leveling sealant. This urethane base sealant stays permanently elastic and it expands and contracts with the concrete and temperature changes.Note that this product only works in horizontal applications.See attached pdf.
