Filling screw holes in deck planks

Folks, I'm using the Camo hidden fastening system installing cedar decking. It creates 1/2 in holes and worried water will pool in there. Any issues you see with using an outdoor wood filler to fill the holes?

1/2" holes that are visible??? And that's supposed to he more discrete than just face-screwing deck screws (5/16" heads). Doesn't make sense to me.

Here's a video showing how the Camo system is supposed to be installed, there aren't any holes in the deck surface! http://www.camofasteners.com/camo-video.html

Sorry LOL. 1/2" DEEP. The holes are maybe 1/8" in diameter.

Ah. Ok. Sure. The box stores have wood putty/fillet that work for exterior and take stain. I use Elmer's PROBOND though I'll admit I wouldn't have the patience to fill hundred of holes. Face deck screws not countersunk works in my book

If there 1/2 deep then your putting them in way to far.
No way would I be using any form of filler!
#1 It going to stick out like a sore thumb because it not going to take the stain like the deck will.
#2 It's just not going to hold up in a deck. The wood expands and contracts, the filler does not.
#3 Fill the holes and there's no way to get the screws out to do a repair.

those were my concerns too. I'll prob just let it be. They all go in same amount it's controlled by the jig. Maybe not a full 1/2".
