fastener spacing


simple enough questions...

what is the average spacing between tyvek staples?

and vinyl siding nail spacing in J-channel and panels?

i just want to be sure i'm using enough.

fastener spacing


When I build the kitchen addition I stapled the tyvec 12" in the field and 6" on the seams.
Vinyl siding is nailed 16" apart and into the studs. It requires planning as the tyvec covers the sheathing.
