fastener spacing

When I build the kitchen addition I stapled the tyvec 12" in the field and 6" on the seams.
Vinyl siding is nailed 16" apart and into the studs. It requires planning as the tyvec covers the sheathing.

Siding: http://www.google.com/url?sa=t&sourc...TIdevG-wRG5SOQ

Staples: no closer than 6", no further than 18".
