I was think about installing a fan in my house but I have a false ceiling that has ceiling tiles throughout the house. I know it is possible to install a ceiling fan but don't not sure how to do it. I was wondering if any one here might know how or where I can go to learn how. Thanks!!
I have done this in the past various ways from a pipe flange on the structure above the ceiling to making a wooden frame work. I am not sure how long the Special Fan Boxes have been available but from what I can tell it would have made it ALOT easier to do. And with less safety questions. I would recommend researching a Fan box made for this type of application such as the (Pass and Seymour item number 15010) this looks to me like it could be a fairly easy solution
Thank you so much for that info. I had searched and searched the web for something like that Pass & Seymour support. I will probably be on his site a lot more!!! thanks again!!!
