Facia Peak Cover

I am installing 6" aluminum fascia on 2"x6" trim.
At the peak of the roof, where the 2 fascia meet, my miters are acceptable. But- I have seen "covers" for this application that cover the miters and make a cleaner look.

Is there a name for these ? Where can I find them ?

Facia Peak Cover

I have not seen those things for about 20 years, they used to use them to try and seal the peak and on the outside corners at the bottom or the rakes.
Why not just make one out of coil stock.
To me it looks like someone is trying to cover up something, just a normal over laying of the two piece looks far better.
A simple compound bevel guage makes it easy to cut the angle right eveytime.
