Facia on mono truss
Hi, I've been building a 20' x 20' garage with a mono truss styled roof. I've gotten to the facia point but need some advice. I know how to put the 2x6 facia on the lowest end of the mono truss, since that is similar to most roofs. The roof sheathing will overlap the facia. However on the highest point how do I get the roof sheathing to overlap while still having a bottom edge that matches the soffit on the gable ends?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

You donít want the sheathing overlapping the fascia. The top of the fascia should be flush with the top of the sheathing on the rake and plane in with the lowest outside edge of the fascia at the eave. You can rip the upper fascia at the angle of the roof.

You want the fascia to protect the edge of the sheathing.
