Exterior Sheathing repair from inside home?

Getting new windows so we decided to repair some moisture damaged drywall. We found the there was a gap next to the exisiting window that allowed water to get in for quite a while now. This is a bathroom on the 2nd floor. I found that the extrior sheathing is pretty well shot in some areas. Is there a way to repair the sheathing from inside the house? We have vinyl siding on the exterior of the wall in question. What other options can anyone give me ?

All info is appreciated..

Exterior Sheathing repair from inside home?

Vinyl siding is so easy to remove and reinstall that I would not even consider trying to work from the inside. Not sure that is realistically possible.

You'll need to pull the vinyl siding off and replace the bad sheathing.

Exterior Sheathing repair from inside home?

Thx gents.. I had a feeling that's what I would have to deal with. It will have to wait for some warmer weather since we are in a deep freeze right now. I have some interior work to get done for now.

Thanks for the advice.....
