Exterior Insulation Board Question

I am residing my 110 year old home with vinyl siding. I have torn off the old wood siding and felt paper to get down to the shiplap. I intend to use 1/2" foam board, and cover with housewrap prior to the new siding. Should I caulk around the foamboard where it meets windows etc?

Exterior Insulation Board Question

I always back caulk prior to installing j-channel.
Wouldn't hurt to tape where the house wrap meets the windows and doors.
Won't matter much though, if your windows and doors are s**t.

Exterior Insulation Board Question

If possible, put some insulation out there while you are at it. At least an inch. A rain screen is always a good idea, too.
