Exterior filler for hole in siding


What do I use to fill in gaps from a hole drilled for my Hvac lines

Exterior filler for hole in siding


would help if we knew what type of siding you have and how big the gaps are.
Typically caulk and paint.

If you mean the space around the AC line set you can use duct seal putty,like clay, spray foam, or exterior caulk.

Sorry. It's like 3 inch hole with ac lines coming out of it. There's about an inch gap all around

no problem, but still no help.
Is this lap siding, T1-11, stucco, vinyl, aluminum. A 1" hole will need some packing, what the siding is made of would decide what product I would pack the hole with.

It's hardboard. Mdf I think.

get a quality sealer like silicone except get one that is paintable, silicone is not. seal it up- let it sit a few days to cure, if needed seal it up again once its cured and let sit a few days more and then paint. usually the hvac guy will seal up penetrations if they make them...
