Existing Patio Cover

Recently purchased a new home with an existing patio cover. The underside is currently exposed and needs to be covered next summer. Just wanted to get your thoughts on its existing construction before I cover it.

It spans 20' wide by 12' deep, shed roof design, 4/12; has a 2x8 ledger bolted to the brick with lag bolts, 2x6 trusses, 16' OC, double 2x6 header(?) ties into 4 6x6 posts (concrete footings with bracket holding the posts). Top side has been covered with plywood, felt, shingles and flashing over the ledger board.

Any thoughts?

I've seen vinyl soffit material used for this purpose and it looks nicely finished. To keep it from sagging, 1X3 strapping on 12" centers may be a good idea.
