Durastone Removal from our Deck

We are removing durastone from our decks. It just did not work out for our use - too much cracking for our climate. The durastone is applied over waterproofing, as there are rooms beneath the decks. What is the best way to get rid of the durastone short of scraping it off little by little. We plan on replacing it with composite decking.
Thanks for ANY advice!
