Dumb Question
 
This seems easy enough but for the life of me I cant figure it out??

Hopefully I can explain this well enough to get some answers.

I have a 20' wall and I want to hang 5 24" wide cabinets on it. How do I figure out how to space them evenly on the wall???? The cabinets will start 4" in on each side.

20' is 240". your workspace is -4" on either side.. 232"

the end cabinets are 2x24" = 48".. your divisible space is 184"

you have three more 24" cabinets to hang = 72".. your total walls space between cabinets is 112"

112"/4=28".. you shall have 28" between your 24" cabinets. :thumbsup:

Ok Clems, I think I've got it.

Say I wanted to space them evenly on the wall with space on each side of every cabinet. I figured it out to be 20" in on each side and between each cabinet. Sound right?

sounds right.. 240" overall minus 120" total cabinets = 120" wall space.

120"/6=20":thumbsup:
