Question

Drywall Texture Snag

I am getting ready to texture a home and the texture they are wanting is something that I have not done before. It looks like swirl but with a jagged edge of a trowel instead. Any tips on how to apply this texture would be greatly welcomed. Thankyou.

The bottom Pic is the texture I am looking for. If you could explain how to recreate it I would be very thankful.

Drywall Texture Snag

This is known as the comb finish. It is done with a special Artex comb. Artexers tell me that this is the most difficult of all the artex finishes. It needs a really confident steady sweep with the comb.
I will get some pictures up of the tool needed when I get home.
When done properly it does look really good, with all the combs radiating from the light.
