drywall metal corner connectors

Not really sure where to put this so i will try here. The metal strips connecting the corners of drywall are coming off and want to know how to fix them before I paint. I have a couple of pictures.

drywall metal corner connectors

I use a 1/4 inch small crown stapler----however,using drywall nails work well,too.

Fill the metal corner bead with 20 minute 'easy sand'--that's the powdered mix.

If you don't like mixing mud then All purpose will do--it's not as hard as 2- minute, but acceptable.

Avoid using light weight topping mix as it doesn't stick very well.---Mike---
