Drywall bathroom ceiling

We have an old lathe and plaster house and I finally gave up on the cracks in the ceiling and drywalled it. Due to other work I won't be taping, mudding and priming for a few weeks. Should I be worried about humidity and the drywall? And if that is a problem, should i prime everything and then tape and mud later?

did you use green board or regular drywall?

Regular drywall. The shower is fully enclosed, basically another room almost.

Tape and coat as normal.

However: Make sure that you use a Mildew Resistant Primer and paint.

Make sure that you also have the proper ventilation (Exhaust fan) installed too.

Good Luck.
