can you apply bullnose cornerbead that has paper edges over regular cornerbead already installed. Or do you have to remove the square cornerbead first.

Also, if you mud the back of the bullnose corner bead that has tape on it already, and attached it to the corner of wall, you don't need to screw it in. Yes or No. Just wondering.....

No, you must remove the standard 90 corner bead. The reason for this is because the vinyl bullnose corner bead "sits" closer to the actual outside corner than standard bead. If the standard 90 corner bead were left, it would not allow the bullnose conerbead to be where it should be.

Yes and no.

No: Do not "mud" the corner bead (with paper edges) itself. You must apply the compound to the drywall corner, and then place the corner bead over the compound/onto the drywall corner. Wipe down, etc....

Yes: You would not need to use any screws when applying any kind of corner bead that has paper edges.
