Dry Wall mudding

I need advice
My contractor is finishing my basement
He installed the 2X4s and the dry wall. He is in the process of taping & mudding with a the all purpose mix ( compound) that comes in the green caps 5 galon bucket . In the morning we noticed alot of mouisture and water droplets on the windows in the basement . We hear a ticking noise coming from the furnace . It this an issue or a normal outgassing of the compound...Any advice will help??...Thanks

Quite normal--High humidity---The clicking from the furnace is probably an electric air filter.

Remind the contractor to cover the return air intakes during the sanding.(Or turn off the furnace while sanding)--MIKE--

Thank You
Should we keep the basement window open for ventilation during the night?
By the way we opened new vents in the basement for heating should we also add a return ?...Where does it go???.Thanks alot:)

You could open a window-However if the heat is on ,the open window should not be needed.

A vent cover cut into the furnace room wall usually is all that is needed.
