Driveway foundation seal

I have a driveway that meets up diectly to the foundation of my house. There is a small gap of a 1/4 inch between the driveway and foundation. I have been using that foam sealant between the two to prevent water from potentially leaking between the driveway and foundation. Is this even necessary and if so, is there somethign else I should be using? I have to apply the foam sealant nearly every year.
Thanks,Joel

UV degrades the Faom............. you'll need to cover it with more of an Ashpalt or concrete type caulking to help protect that as well.

If it's a wide gap, Use the foam then cover that with either Concrete or asphalt caulking to keep the UV rays from degrading the foam.
