Do it yourself insulation removal

Has anyone used a dust collector fan such as a Grizzly model G1029Z or a Grizzly model G1030 for removing blown in Cellulose attic insulation?

I've used a shop vac. I can't see why a dust collector wouldn't work. I'd recommend you run a grounded bare copper wire inside the pick up hose. You can build one mean static charge picking up that stuff.
