DIY drawing sofware easier than AutoCAD ?


anybody have any recommendation for a DIY-er submitting his own design for permits ?

DIY drawing sofware easier than AutoCAD ?


i used sketchup cause its free, easy to learn and powerful. you can dimension everything and provide all sorts of views. its great in every way.

DIY drawing sofware easier than AutoCAD ?


I used TurboCad to do mine several years ago. I've never used AutoCAD, so I can't compare them. TurboCAD was a pretty nice, easy to use package for my needs. But I do have some level of previous CAD experience.
