Question

Divided wall doesnt fit steel stud spacing ?

Seems like a good idea Scottktmrider.I need to use heavier gauge for shelves pictures etc.. The walls I'm planning would be about 12ft tall. Could cross bracing also work with the stud spacing including the odd numbered bay mentioned earlier?

I dont think you can get 25 gauge that are 12' in length. You will have to go to drywall supply house to get 12' footers.I think lowes all you can get is 8' metal studs.

Thanks it looks like it will be the custom shop. When I install the false plaster ceiling would I frame the drywall wall to the deck?
