Distance to fence posts on 6" deep concrete slab

I am designing a new fence. Posts will be anchored with these flat base brackets: http://www.campbellfencing.com/bracket.html to a 6" concrete slab. What should the distance between the posts. I am hoping for 8' but am a little concerned about wind shear. We are located in SF Bay Area, it can get a windy here.

Is 8' o.c. with these special flat base post brackets strong enough or should I go with 4' o.c.?
What is the recommendation?

Rest of fence is Western Red Cedar, with light panels made out of 1/4" colorless frosted Acrylite.
