Didn't use green treat...now what?

We just started finishing out basement ourselves, we put up a few walls and figured that we better get a permit before we get much farther. We just got the guide lines in the mail and it says that we need to use green treat for the bottom plates.
Our bottom plates are not treated. The are liquid nailed and nailed in, with that walls installed on top of them.
What is our next step. No permit or is there something else we can do at this point to bring it up to code?

Pressure-treated wood means pressure-treated, and there is no after-market treatment that will match it.
Unfortunately, you may be required to rip it out and do it right from the basement floor up, or you may have wall structural problems later.
Your local Building Inspector will make the call.

Did you happen to put plastic under the wood? If you did, you may be okay with your building department.

However, like Mike said, you may be stuck ripping it all out.
