Dewalt impact nut driver bits?

I am really liking this driver. However, I can only find the 4 nut driver bits made by Dewalt. I bought another set of a different brand which contains 5 or six each of US and Metric. However, they're straight hex shanks and don't stay put in the Dewalt quick chuck.

I did also buy the 1/4, 3/8 and 1/2 inch socket adapters, but sockets can pull off sometimes too. I really want a larger set of 1 piece bits.

Anyone found more nut driver (hex) bits for the Dewalt?

from what I could see with a quick look, any nut driver designed for a quick release chuck (spring loaded 1/4" hex) should work fine in your driver.

Do the bit you bought have the groove near the end?

as far as I know, the bits are pretty much universal as long as they have the groove in them like these:

Oh, I guess I thought that the shanks with the narrow neck were proprietary Dewalt only. So you're saying that's not the case. Ok, I'll look around for others. Thanks.

yep, those are standard and common 1/4" hex shanks with the retention groove.

Koodawg,
I use the 3/8 and 1/2" socket adapters all the time and don't really have a problem with sockets falling off. In fact, I use deepwell impacts on the 3/8 drive adaptor and you have to give them a noticeable tug to get them off. You also get much greater depth than the one piece nut drivers. Most of the one piecers won't work like you think on the larger stuff if there is the threaded portion of a bolt sticking out past the nut more than a 1/4".
