deck roof addition to the existing roof

I extended my front porch roof, I add the new roof on top of the existing roof which is between two gables. I added on top instead of under do to the fact that it was too low. The problem that I am trying to fix is that I am having water leak on the sides of the roof. I add a flash between the sides of the both roofs but the water leak still there, what I can do to seal the leak?
