Deck baluster/spindle connector options

For my deck I was planning on using some of those black connectors for the top and bottom of my aluminum balusters (3/4" round) and found that they are an additional cost I didn't like. Does anyone know of a place I can buy these in bulk (352) at a reasonable price? Or any other ideas that would work?

On the back of the packaging of the connectors it notes that the connectors keep aluminum balusters from contact with treated lumber. Will the treated lumber ruin the balusters if I don't use the connectors?

The chemicals and metals in the wood will react with the aluminum spindles. The plastic connectors prevent contact between the wood and the spindles.I don't know of a suitable alternative or where to buy then at a better price.
