Default cutting marble seat for garden

Hi there -- any thoughts on how best to cut a 1/2 in piece of sealed marble? The neighbors gave it to me when they moved & I'd like to use it as a seat built into a stone wall in the garden. The problem: it's kinda the wrong shape. I'd like to round it off a bit. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

As a DYIer if you have a 4" grinder you can purchase a 4" steel masonry blade for the grinder. Thats what I use to cut tile with, also cinder block, and brick too.

Default marble has no 'grain',,,

therefore you'll need to diamond saw this piece - 4" grinder'll work fine - those blades're cheap at the apron store - .110" thickness approx $10,,, support the piece or it'll crk ahead of the blade,,, only cut 1/4" at a time for best results & lowest amt of dust,,, i wouldn't do this work inside the house.

Default btw, 1/2" is too thin,,,

for a seat imo - supported by a full layer of white cement mortar or not,,, portland mortar'll stain the marble.
