cutting Durok or Hardi Board

I have read about the health "pitfalls" of cutting both products, I understand both products can be scribed and snapped.

For making short cuts is a circular saw with a masonary blade OK?

Is 1/2 pressure treated plywood suitable for a floor?

Durrock type board can be scored with a utility knife and snapped like drywall.

Haddi backer is best done with a carbide scoring tool and is snapped towards the cut (the opposite as drywall)

A jig saw with a carbide blade is handy for odd cuts---a 4" wet cutting circular saw with a wet sponge slapped against the blade is the easiest and neatest tool.

An angle grinder with a diamond blade works well.although very dusty.

A circular saw is a messy way to cut and is abusive to the tool.
