What air pressures do plumbers use to test new whole home/building systems?

If you are talking about the drain system they just do a stack test. Go to the roof and fill vent pipe with water. When I built my house the fresh water system was tested at 40 psi. I have no idea if that is what most plumbers use or not but mine held that pressure.

When the plumber tested the new gas lines he just used a bicycle pump and got it about 15psi. Had to hold for a few hours to pass.
