I'm going to encapsulate a 14' x 28' crawlspace in a 1920s house, next to a basement. It's adjacent to a basement, so I'm going to insulate the basement. CMU wall separates the crawlspace from the basement, waist-high, full of dirt. 2x4s run horizontal on top of the CMU wall, and 4x4s go up. In the pictures, you see plywood sheathing separates the basement from crawlspace, this will be removed. For the wall closest to the picture, where and how do I attach the vapor barrier? All pictures are of the same area, just taken closer in, or further away.
Yes. The plywood half-walls that separate the basement from the crawlspace will all be removed (one has already been removed, and that is the area I photographed) and the waist-high crawlspace will be used for storage. The plywood and crawlspace does some zigzagging, and that's why you see plywood in the second picture.
