Cracks in Quikrete Resurfacer


I applied the new quikrete bonding resurfacer to old concrete basement walls. I cleaned, scraped and grinded the walls well before applying. A week after surfacing I noticed a few hairline cracks and a hollow sound behind the cracks.

Should I fix these cracks before painting? And what types of paint should I use? I was considering drylok as I have 3 left over gallons...
