Are the cracks caused by foundation/structure issue?

Hi,

I saw cracks between (internal) wall and window frame around several windows in a year 2003 house. Are the cracks caused by foundation/structure issue?

Here is one picture:http://picasaweb.google.com/11011074...86745594366130

Thanks for the help,

Eric

Is that a window or a skylight? That mold tells me you have condensation issues or water leaks. Bad install in the first place (drywall "j" channel prevents the separation from looking so bad).

Can't paint most silicone caulks; acrylic latex type you can paint. Check the tube before you buy it if it is paintable.
